These Flexible Blocks are double sided and surprisingly strong magnetically. As an example these blocks are used in the escalator and lift industries, as they can be cut, drilled or machined on site to make a proximity sensor. Unlike most flexible magnetic rubber products, these have magnetism on both sides eg: north and south poles.
These Flexible Blocks are can be custom cut to size or modified by drilling holes or form cut with metal dies. They are surprisingly strong magnetically, when two blocks are aligned they are difficult to separate by hand. Most magnetic rubber products are not this powerful and are generally singled sided, with the north and south poles on the same one side, however the Flexible Block is unique in this regard as it is magnetically doubled sided with one side south and the other north just like most typical ceramic blocks. These magnets can, as an example, be used as sensors in many machines such as elevators, lifts and escalators.
