Fastmag Spots of Gold are super strong permanent rare
earth magnets. They are manufactured from neodymium and iron
boron and they are without doubt the strongest type of
magnet available for therapeutic use. This means that when
you use Fastmag Spots of Gold, you can be assured you are
using the very best product of its type. Both the North Pole
and the South Pole of all magnets have very different
therapeutic properties. Both poles are used for magnetic
therapy purposes, but in a targeted way to achieve specific
outcomes. Each Spots of Gold magnet has a dimple on its
NORTH POLE face for easy polar identification.
It is generally accepted that the NORTH POLE (the side
with the dimple) has a stimulating or toning effect. This
promotes blood flow to the stimulated region, which in turn
provides the body with the tools that it requires to promote
healing. This pole is considered ideal for the temporary
relief of pain due to soft tissue injuries, muscle strains
etc.
Alternatively, the SOUTH POLE (the side without the
dimple) has a dispersing and calming or sedating effect.
This means that the SOUTH POLE is well suited for the
temporary relief of longer term or chronic injuries. PLEASE
NOTE: If the disorder is in any way infected, then the SOUTH
POLE is the only pole that should be used.
As their name suggests Fastmag Spots of Gold are gold
plated, this is to reduce the possibility of skin
irritations etc. If a rash, itching or other
irritation occurs, it is recommended that you place a piece
of non-allergenic surgical tape between the magnet and your
skin. This should alleviate the possibility of irritations
without reducing the effect of the magnets. With prolonged
use, the gold plating may wear off the magnet. If this does
occur it should be noted that the magnetic force is in no
way reduced and the magnet may still be used for decades.
Directions
Place the appropriate side of the magnet on the skin at
the point of pain using the sticking plasters supplied.
Spots of Gold can remain in place for four to six days at a
time. After this period it is recommended that the site be
inspected for any skin irritation and that the sticking
plasters be changed. Fastmag Spots of Gold may be left on
during bathing or showering. If possible, it is good
practice to have approximately two days per week without
using magnets. This magnet free period is by no means
mandatory, however for long-term use this is considered the
best way of ensuring that your body does not become over
conditioned to the magnetic field and therefore lessening
its effectiveness.
Fastmag Spots of Gold are available in two sizes,
“Regular” and “Jumbo”. Both the regular size and the jumbo
size Spots of Gold have a dimple on the North Pole of each
magnet. They are supplied in a distinctive blue pack with
the Fastmag Wizard on the back. Each pack has clear
instructions printed on the inside, and comes complete with
an application chart indicating the correct Magnet placement
positions for many of the more common ailments.
The
Regular size Spots of Gold are 6mm diameter x 2mm thick.
They come in a pack of 10 magnets complete with 30 x 22mm
plasters. They are the smaller of the two sizes and are
great to have in the cupboard ready for all manner of day to
day aches and pains.
Fastmag recommend that the use of all magnetic therapy
products should be discontinued for people with pace makers,
nursing mothers and also during pregnancy.
